Internship at USC

My first Internship was at the University of the Sunshine Coast. The internship went for six weeks and I was required to model a six bed nursing room along with the beds and furniture to be used in a simulation training app.

At the start of the internship I was shown the USC nursing room that needed to be modelled to a 1:1 ratio with a low poly count. From there I took photographs, measurements and drew drafting sketches of the room and furniture.

During the six weeks I modelled the entire room along with nine pieces of furniture, including all UV mapping and texturing.

From undertaking this internship I expanded my skills in low poly modelling, mapping and texturing. I gained skills in understanding briefs, drafting and modelling to measurements and ratios.
